Heated Competition

In each episode the parents will compete for the Brides and Grooms to accumulate points. Here are a few examples of potentially heated competitions.

King of the Ring

King of the Ring is an old school game where competitors are placed in a circle. The object of the game is to get everyone out of the circle while staying inside. The game can get fairly rough.

This game is ideal for a one-on-one father against grooms for teams of fathers versus grooms. The teams add the extra strategy. King of the Ring is a best out of 5 competition.

Water Dunking Competition

Fathers and Grooms will be placed in a swimming pool together. The object of the game is to dunk the other contestant. Points are awarded to the winning father or groom or the teams of fathers and grooms. This is a good place for the contestants to increase or work out aggression.

Boxing Matches

The Father and the Groom will have their hands wrapped and boxing gloves put on. The gloves will be fairly soft to avoid injury. Then the boxing match begins. The rounds are short and quick. The best out of 5 wins the competition. The other fathers and grooms are the corner team mates trying to give advice to their friends.

Basketball Team

The fathers compete against the grooms in an all out basketball game. No fouls are called as long as the other player is going for the ball. The should make the game physical and heated. The first team to score 20 points wins.

Wedding Cake Eating

The fathers compete against the grooms in a wedding cake eating contest. The first team to eat 3 pieces each score 20 points.

Tie Them Up

The fathers will tie up the grooms and they will be timed attempting to escape. The daughter can help after 30 seconds. Then the father will be tied up and the mother can help her escape after 30 seconds. The winner of this event gets 20 points.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

The mother is required to attend the Bachelor party with all of the grooms friends. We can spice this up to create some tension and teasing.

The father is required to attend the Bachelor party with all of the brides friends. We can spice this up to create some tension and teasing. The father may get a lap dance from a male stripper.

Father & Groom Team Events

At times we will have father and groom teams competing against other father and groom teams. This will put a twist on the games as the winning father and the winning groom will add points to their individual totals.

Father & Groom Frustration

Just to agitate and create drama, we will have the father and the groom on the same team competing against the other father and groom teams. However, we will create conflicting situations that will stir the emotions of the players. We might have a timed event to assemble a grill. We could then give them a bad instruction manual, missing parts or not enough tools. The other teams would actually have the other parts. The winning Father and Groom team must take points away from another Father or Groom.

Mother versus Daughter

We will the have mothers versus Groom or Daughter in events such as:

Winning a Debate discussion on controversial issues like condoms and birth control Attempting to convince the groom to leave or wait The Mother and daughter debating her future.

Emotional Competition

While most of the outdoor competitions and arguing will take place in the first few days of the Pre-Marital Boot Camp, everyone is required to complete the growth part of the Boot Camp conducted by Jim Carroll and David Bishop.

Emotions will run high as everyone is forced into games, drills and exercises that cause conflict and emotional bonding. Life and death decisions will be made during the boot camp and their will be plenty of healing between the daughter and the parents. The parents might even start liking the groom.

We will interviews all parties following each event.

Points will be issued depending on the game results. The Parents and the Bride and Groom will be able to add or subtract points throughout the Boot Camp process.
